Editorial policy
How we research, write, date and correct broker reviews, guides and news, and how we keep commercial relationships separate from editorial decisions.
Sources
Broker figures come from the broker's own legal documents, fee schedules and websites, and from regulators' public registers. Every figure on a profile carries the date it was last verified.
Independence
Editorial staff decide scores, awards and rankings. Brokers cannot pay to change a score, an award or their position on a page, and they do not review content before it is published.
Labelling
We separate reporting, analysis and sponsored content. Anything a broker has paid for is clearly labelled as sponsored. Historical figures and award results are labelled with their year.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we correct it and note the date of the correction on the page. To report an error, use our contact form; we aim to re-check within 48 hours.
Risk
Our content is general information, not personal financial advice. Trading forex and CFDs on margin carries a high level of risk, and most retail accounts lose money.
