Who we are

ForexAwards.com is an independent website that reviews and compares forex brokers. This policy explains what personal information we handle when you visit the site, subscribe to our newsletter or get in touch. For any privacy question or request, use our contact page (see 'Contact us' below).

What we collect

Information you give us: your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter, and the details you enter in our contact and broker nomination forms, such as your name, email address and message. Information collected automatically: pages viewed, referring pages, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected through Google Analytics and cookies (see our cookie policy). We never ask for trading account logins, passwords or payment details, so please do not send them to us.

How we use it

To send the newsletter you asked for, to reply to your messages, to review broker nominations, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and to measure how many visitors follow our links to brokers. Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on your consent (for the newsletter and for non-essential cookies such as analytics), on steps you ask us to take (replying to messages and reviewing nominations), and on our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the site.

Sharing

We use service providers to run the site: Webflow hosts the website and processes form and newsletter submissions, and Google provides website analytics. They process data on our behalf, and some may process it outside your country using the safeguards they provide. When you click a link to a broker, that broker or its affiliate network may record the visit under its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected: newsletter details until you unsubscribe, and messages and nominations for as long as needed to deal with them and keep a reasonable record. Analytics data is kept in line with the retention settings of our analytics provider.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain uses, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, contact us through our contact page. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each email.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
